Salary Spy is a mobile application that provides anonymous, community-driven salary benchmarking data for professionals in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. The app is operated by Mohamed Elgebaly, an individual developer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using Salary Spy, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the app on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
You may use Salary Spy for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
Free tier: The free version of Salary Spy provides limited access to salary benchmarking data, including your position on the salary range and percentage relative to the market median. Detailed salary figures and the full report are not available on the free tier.
Full Report ($9.99 one-time purchase): Purchasing the Full Report grants you a single, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access the complete benchmark report for one search. The Full Report includes full salary breakdowns, percentile data, path to top 10% guidance, negotiation tips, and the ability to share the report via WhatsApp, Email, LinkedIn, or as a saved PDF.
All purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms and conditions. Prices are displayed in USD and may be converted to local currency by the relevant store.
All in-app purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at salaryspyme@gmail.com within 48 hours of the purchase. Refund requests for Apple App Store purchases must be submitted through Apple's refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Salary Spy provides benchmarking data based on anonymous community submissions. While we strive to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the data:
When you submit salary data to Salary Spy, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, aggregate, and display that data as part of our anonymized benchmark dataset. You represent that the data you submit is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge. We reserve the right to remove any submissions we believe to be false or manipulative.
All content, design, code, branding, and data within the Salary Spy app is owned by Mohamed Elgebaly or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our express written permission. The Salary Spy name, logo, and visual identity are proprietary.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Salary Spy and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Salary Spy is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Salary Spy at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Use. You may stop using the app at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately, but any provisions of these terms that should survive termination will remain in effect.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
